Grand Tradition: Lower Grand Canyon
Get ready to write the big chapter of your life’s most exciting memories on this Grand Canyon rafting trip that spans nine and a half days, 126 miles, and 45 rated rapids of premiere white water river rafting during this extraordinary river rafting excursion. Starting at Phantom Ranch and concluding at Diamond Creek, this Wilderness River Adventures oar-boat trip gives you the best of the Colorado River. You’ll see waterfalls, Indian ruins, and the oldest rock in the Grand Canyon. You could even come face-to-face with bighorn sheep, eagles, bats, condors, and mule deer.
Our experienced guides do more than help you navigate the whitewater. They also do all the cooking, and spice it up with fascinating facts of geology, astronomy, and canyon folklore. Your trip comes complete with bus transportation from Diamond Creek to Hualapai Lodge at Peach Springs, Arizona, at the conclusion of your trip, along with flights back to your choice of Tusayan, South Rim, or Las Vegas, Nevada. Also included are sleeping bag and pad, tent, camp chair, waterproof stowage for camera and clothes, your own Wilderness River Adventures T-shirt, hat, and cup, lifejackets, all meals on the river, soft drinks and drinking water, and much more.
