The Bright Angel trail is one of the most iconic and breathtaking paths in the Grand Canyon. From the Grand Canyon Village, the trail begins on the South Rim at the Bright Angel Lodge and descends to the Colorado River. From the river, the trail begins at the River Rest House, known as Pipe Creek, and ends at the Bright Angel Lodge. Elevation change is 4460 ft, along an 8-9.9-mile trail. This distance is dependent on weather, pipeline maintenance, and parking. This trail is marked as difficult. All passengers will be responsible for carrying their own gear and water. Please be advised not to disguise its beauty with how physically demanding and strenuous the trail is. You will experience temperature changes and steep terrain.
